We are so much into technology that threats of security breaches have started threatening us and they are now governing our moves on internet. We do not pass a single day when we don’t receive spam messages, mails and phone calls, they are from phishing attackers. They are those people who want to gain access to your system or account through some messages or a fake pop up form.

Now a well-known firm Symantec has cautioned a lot of internet users about the scam that asks for a password and attackers gain access to your account through this. Moreover the firm has released the video to notify users of the issue and explain how attackers trick them.

To get access to a user’s email account, they just need users email address and mobile number as whenever the login is done the messages goes to mobile number. This attack doesn’t require any technical or coding skills. The email hacking process is the similar to password retrieving process.

Steps that would help to get to know how this works

hack any account via phone number

For undertaking a phishing attack, you need not to be a genius coder or a techy geek. What all you will need is to click need help option whenever you try to access somebody’s email.

After clicking on need help option, you need to select first option which says I don’t know my password and enter the email id of victim whose email account is getting hacked.

Now a verification code is been sent to victim which is a fake code, once the victim resends that to attacker then the account is hacked.

How can you save your EMAIL from phishing attack?

Such social engineering platforms may fool your around regarding the password but remember google never ask for such passwords that too from SMS services. In future if you receive any message from an unidentified number asking for your password and login id appearing original to you then don’t reply and think of Phishing attack first.
