Yesterday there was yet another flight hack at Poland as ten flights were grounded as their computer system got hacked . The flights who got hacked gets issued at Warsaw’s okecie airport.
This hack has affected a lot of passengers traveling through Poland international flight. Nearly 1400 passengers were trapped due to this computer hack.
The news was made public through a tweet by an official account of Chopin airport revealing about LOT. Polish Airlines and the cancellation of flights. Though the services of computer system got fixed soon and the investigation has started against this hack.
According to officials this hack which occurred as a intrusion has brought down the entire LOT’s network as the systems who deals in charting flight schedule and plans other things got hacked.
In an official press release the Poland international announced that their network got hacked which was the reason for their cancelled flights and affected operations.
The entire system could it work properly, they were not able to devise flight plans and outbound flights could not take off from Warsaw.
They clarified their aircrafts had no impact of this intrusion , they are safe to fly. The flights which were airborne will resume services and those who are scheduled will follow their own schedule as there will be no impact of such attacks on service delivery.
Digital forensics are already after the one who have implemented this hack.
