The Famous worldwide Anonymous group is in the hit list again, Australian Anonymous members hacked twitter accounts belonging to the Ku Klux Klan.
The Ku Klux Klan (KKK), or just the Klan, is the name of three distinct movements in the United States. They first played a violent role against African Americans in the South during the Reconstruction Era of the 1860s.
Some of the official twitter accounts of the group Ku Klux Klan including @YourKKKcentral and @KuKluxKlanUSA, were seized after Anonymous declared “cyber warfare” on the racist group.
Why Anonymous is against the KKK?
Members of the KKK group were threatening to use “lethal force” against demonstrators in Ferguson, Missouri, who are protesting about the fatal August shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown by white police officer Darren Wilson.
This is ‘Operation KKK,’ Anonymous declared this in a video on YouTube, released on Friday:
Anonymous says:
“We are not attacking you because of what you believe in as we fight for freedom of speech…
“We are attacking you because of what you did to our brothers and sisters at the Ferguson protest on 12 November.”
“The aim of our operation is nothing more than cyber warfare. Anything you upload will be taken down, anything you use to promote the KKK will be shut down.”
