Lulzsec member pleads guilty



A member of LulzSec (Ryan Ackroyd) which is a Computer Hacking group pleaded guilty to hack the websites of two major corporations Sony and Nintendo.


Ryan pleaded his guilty today at the hearing in London Court, in his previous statement he said that he has not any role in this hacking and According to prosecutors


Here is the story of his Hacking Life in 2011:


  • Hacked the official websites of Twentieth Century Fox
  • Hacked U.K.’s National Health Service,
  • Hacked technology security company HBGary
  • Hacked Arizona State Police Department in addition to Sony and Nintendo

According to Bloomberg, prosecutors said the hackers adjusted security settings on computers to allow access to confidential company data and to redirect sites visitors to the hackers’ webpage.

Judge Deborah Taylor will announce his sentence on May 14, along with those of three other U.K.-based LulzSec members who previously pleaded guilty to hacking charges after being arrested in September 2011.


LulzSec surfaced in 2011 after claiming responsibility for taking down a number of major organizations’ websites, including that of Fox Broadcasting Company and the CIA. LulzSec also hacked the PlayStation Network in May 2011, compromising the data of 77 million users and taunting Sony via Twitter during the hack.
