A Cross platform backdoor is identified by a Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web, actually this backdoor run in Mac OS X and Linux and it is named as “Backdoor.Wirenet”. This backdoor steals your browser passwords of opera, chrome, Firefox and chromium and it use application like thunderbird, sea monkey and Pidgin to steal passwords.

 

This Backdoor is under Investigation. 

How it works? 

On startup Backdoor Wirenet.1 creates a copy in the user’s home directory and a special encryption algorithm Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used by this Malware to interact with the command server located at 212.7.208.65.
