INSTAGRAM:

Capture and share the world’s moments. Instagram is an online video sharing, social networking and, photo sharing service. It enables its users to record videos and takes pictures, and shares them on a variety of social networking platforms, such as, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr.

Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. It was launched in October 2010. The service didn’t take long to become popular, with over 100 million active users as of April 2012. Instagram began development in San Francisco.

SOUNDCLOUD:

It is a Swedish online audio distribution platform based in Berlin, Germany, that enables its users to upload, record, promote, and share their originally created sounds. According to the company’s data, in December 2014, the service attracts more than 175 million unique monthly listeners, while content creators upload about  12 hours’ worth of audio every minute. Soundcloud users can create and join groups that provide a common space for content to be collected and shared. Soundcloud has released apps for popular mobile operating systems, including Android, iOS and Firefox OS. It also won the Schroder’s Innovation Award at the 2011 European tech tour awards dinner. Founders Alexander Ljung and Eric Wahlfross are the chief executive officer (CEO) and chief technical officer (CTO), respectively.

SUBWAY SURFER:

It is an “endless running” mobile game. It was co-developed by Kiloo, a private company based in Denmark and SYBO games. It is available on android, iOS, kindle, and windows phone platforms. Subway suffers was released on 24 may 2012 with updates based on seasonal holidays. Since 2 January 2013, updates have been based on a “world tour” which places the game in a new city every month. As of 5 March 2015, 21 cities have been featured in the game. The current city is Mumbai (second release).

Players of the game take the role of youthful hooligans who, upon being caught in the act of applying graffiti to a metro railway site, run down the tracks to escape the inspector and his dog.
