Following the testaments of former FBI director, there is an upheaval in the United States. This has led to a rise in questions and investigations.
The news that Russia ‘hacked’ US presidential elections of 2016 came as a shock to the world. These claims just took more credibility after Ms Manfra, the undersecretary of cybersecurity testified before the Senate’s intelligence board regarding the Russian hacking of US elections.
She informed that according to latest findings, elections of 21 states are believed to be tampered by Russia. Despite refusal from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of any claims of hacking of presidential elections, Ms Manfra believes that the so called “fool proof” system was ingeniously hacked by Russians in 21 states.
There has yet been no response from the US White House over this matter and this raises further doubts in everyone’s mind regarding if Trump was directly involved in tampering elections too. The White House secretary refuses to comment on this matter.
The comments of Ms Manfra have given base to the revelations made by Samuel Liles, acting director of the DHS cyber division. Though, Samuel’s comments were not supportive of any evidence of vote tallying, but Manfra’s testimonies before the intelligence committee has raised many eyebrows on whether Russia ‘hacked’ US elections.
