Volvo group is working on a new project using the latest technology. Volvo will soon reveal an upgraded version of its Awesome Volvo on Call. This is one application that makes you and your car smarter as it delivers you uninterrupted connectivity with your Car through wearables like Apple Watch and Android Wear.
This app will enable Volvo drivers to control their car settings, lock and unlock feature and many more features that Volvo provides with a touch on your wrist.
The Amazing feature of this Volvo on call app is it makes you change various settings of your car like setting heater timings like making it little warmer and cooling it down in winters, you can check mileage and fuel with service timings and time table. If you forget your car location in a crowded parking space then you can also locate your car with this app as told by David Holecek, Director Connected Products and Services at Volvo.
This app is coming with wearables like Apple Watch, iPad UI, Android wear, Windows phone, this app also has voice control through Cortana which is an intelligent assistant system. This upgraded version will soon hit the market by end of June.
The previous versions of Volvo on call were the first telematics systems formulated for cars in the world. It uses a SIM installed in car to safeguard, secure, and track your car in case of accident, theft or breakdown.
The app can also connect driver to Volvo on call operator in case they need any assistance. The safety functions activates when air bags sets out, it also track your car using GPS technology and connect emergency services to the incident.
Over a period of time , tremendous growth in geographic laoction and application has provided many convenient features like lock your car from your application as you use it like remote, Indicating fuel levels , lost car will be found and other leading security services.
