Over the past couple of months many Apple users have been finding that their recent update (iOS 8.1.3) doesn’t allow them to use PlayBox, HD Cinema and Movie Box. All of us would find this extremely frustrating and a nuisance, especially if you have just sat down to watch a movie after a hard day’s work.
But why is this happening for so many people and why the update?
iOS 8.1.3 was released 3 months ago and so far has been discussed at great length for many reasons, good and bad. But this is just one bad feature too far. This is because many customers use these methods to watch the movies they want nearly every day. Consequently tens of thousands of customers have been let down.
This will surely induce customers to move away from Apple to more video tolerant streaming apps which are more compliant.
Most people use none jailbroken devices and so suffer at the micromanaged hands of Apple. However for those who are adept and confident at jailbreaking their device, and are aware that there are ways around this restriction.
However due to Apples restrictions these apps are not allowed in the Apple Store, so we will have to fish around for a developer with apps that solve the problem. However this does not necessarily solve the dilemma. There are a number of faults using these jailbreaking apps, and they often can be unreliable.
Customers can always downgrade their phones and other devices but this can mean missing out on future software updates.
Some apps can be downloaded to solve this problem, for example apps from appsync are, downloaded making your iPhone, iPad, IPod jailbroken, meaning you have customized it. But is it really necessary to jailbreak you phone or TV just so you can watch Movies or TV shows? The answer is No!
Recently Cloud Movies have been building up popularity and can be recommended for watching films on an Apple device. Cloud Movies state that they are compatible with the newest iOS update and will continue to do so. Cloud Movies allow users to watch thousands of Movies and TV shows of their choice, all for free. There is however one significant drawback-adverts.
If you are willing to put up with an advert every now and again then great! This will solve your problem. But if not then this isn’t the app for you. It is available, however, on the App Store right now so why don’t you give it a go? Plus you don’t have to jailbreak your device, only put up with a few commercials.
If you don’t want to jailbreak your phone or even if you do there are many videos out there to help customers into getting IOS 8.1.3 working with their home cinemas, Movie Box or PlayBox.
