Since Last Night one of the famous hacker group The ‘Lizard Squad‘ targeting the Sony PlayStation Network and Xbox Live online service, well hackers hacked to say Merry Christmas :)
Right now, the PSN status says:
Yes it says, it is down or Offline, but the thing is, how hackers are attacking the service of PlayStation and Xbox?
The answer is well known among the hackers and the tech experts—Denial-of-service attack, according to a report of a website, Sony status says it is online, but the many of the users still having problems while connecting to the Sony PlayStation service, may be some of the users are able to use the online service, but it is 100% sure that there is something behind the service which is still disrupting.
Upon checking the Xbox Live service, it is saying something that some of its service are currently not working and officials are working on this:
The ‘Lizard Squad’ has openly claimed about this ddos attack that they downed both of the services, and they were saying not to stop the attacks until they get 10,000 retweets on one of their inane ramblings.
What is a DDoS?
A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack is an attempt to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple sources.
And you know, this is the same hacker who made a rumor about the bomb in a plane carrying Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedley.
If you too getting the disruption in any of the service, tell us in comments.
