EA hacked

One of the most popular game company website EA.com hacked, actually EA server has been compromised by hackers and being used to host a phishing page to steal your Apple ID and credit card details.

Security Firm Netcraft analysis that first and also published a report on it.

As you can see above in the featured image, the first phishing page trick users to handing over their Apple ID and password, then on the second screen it needs your personal information, including credit card number, date of birth and mother’s maiden name.

Hacker managed to hack the server through an outdated version of a web calender application, “This version was released in September 2008 and contains several security vulnerabilities which have been addressed in subsequent releases,” according to Netcraft blog post.

Hacker might also have access to the information stored on the EA’s server, “It is likely that he can at least also view the contents of the calendar and some of the source code and other data present on the server,” Netcraft writes.

Netcraft already reported the compromise to EA, still there is not any comment made by EA.
